indigenous logo

Indigenous beers inspired by indigenous folk!

Following years of intense and hedonistic imbibing and brewing in pursuit of delicious ales, Head Brewer Kevin Brady invites you to share the indigenous experience. Kevin has been brewing since 2011 and having successfully showcased some of his beers at local village events, he has now set up his own Micro Brewery in the village of Chaddleworth, West Berkshire. The focus is on producing hand crafted ales on a relatively small scale that offer something a little different.

April 2016 saw AMMO Belle American Pale Ale voted as Beer of the Festival at Reading Ale and Cider Festival. An accolade that the brewery is extremely proud of.....

All the wines for Peasefest have been selected and delivered by local Wine merchant Wine-Man Ltd based in Yattendon (next door to one of our beer sponsors West Berks Brewery as it happens).

Wine-Man Ltd is an independent wine merchant run by husband and wife team Ian and Paula Hewson, ably assisted by our general manager, Samantha Barker and webmaster, Richard Disney.

The business was founded in 1999 and is run from our premises in the beautiful West Berkshire village of Yattendon.  Wine-Man sources and supplies wines from all over the world. We import directly from producers in France, Spain, Portugal and Italy. Our buying policy is to select wines which offer a great quality to price ratio – wines which reflect the enthusiasm and energy of the winemakers who have made them, rather than the bland, over-processed and dull industrial wines that have largely taken over today’s so-called "special offer" shelves. We look to stock wines which represent great value at their normal shelf price and do not artificially increase prices in order to offer a huge "discount."

Thomas Homes, the name behind sensitive high quality developments.

Established in 1974, Thomas Homes is one of the largest privately owned residential property developers in the south of England. Thomas Homes specialises in building in sensitive locations, projects where design and quality are the major considerations. With an appetite for developments that demand an imaginative, holistic and sympathetic approach, the company’s ambitious schemes to date demonstrate a legacy of success.

There is no standard Thomas Homes’ design, projects take inspiration from each location and the surrounding architecture to create individual dwellings with identity and character. Direct communication, transparent development goals and a passion for community engagement and collaboration have not gone unnoticed. By securing stakeholders’ confidence and trust, the team has enjoyed the freedom to realise some of the UK’s largest and most challenging residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes.

There is lots more information about Thomas Homes, what they do and examples of the properties they've developed on their website www.thomashomes.co.uk

Like many of our sponsors Thomas Homes is a local employer based in Curridge

Two Cocks Brewery is a two-man band based on a small farm just outside Newbury and is very much rooted in its surroundings:  the water for the brews comes from our borehole, some of the hops grow in the hedges and the spent ingredients are fed back to the cattle, pigs or land.  It is reputed that the Roundheads camped on-site before the First Battle of Newbury, and at Peasefest you can enjoy our award-winning Cavalier and Roundhead.

We are proud of our association with Mencap, Newbury, who have the fiddly job of labelling each bottle by hand.
